White Horse Beano Accommodation
Charney Manor is situated in the small Oxfordshire village
of Charney Bassett, in the Vale of the White Horse. This grade 1 listed
building is one of the oldest inhabited houses in Britain. It was once
the grange of the Benedictine abbey of Abingdon, and is now owned and
managed by Quakers as a unique and comfortable venue for various groups
and courses.
We use bedrooms in the main house itself and in the converted
barn across the courtyard. Our bikes are stored indoors. The grounds consist
of three acres of garden including tennis court, croquet lawn and quiet
areas.
