The Grange is a haven for people wanting space, peace
and tranquility. Built in the 1740's, this elegant house is surrounded
by ten acres of grounds. When the famous Victorian engineer Thomas
Telford was constructing the Llangollen Canal, his chief engineer
lived at The Grange – it is quite likely that the great man
himself slept in one of the bedrooms.
Jon and Rosie are our hosts at The Grange which, as
well as being their family home, is the venue for a range of courses
from yoga to painting. Spacious accommodation includes two comfortable
lounges, a conservatory, and a tiled terrace surrounded by ornamental
ironwork. Most bedrooms are in the main house, with a few more in
the converted stable block across the yard.

stay." – Carol Patton
